April 30, 2011 at 8:21 pm #163436It seems the default setting for images in the articles is set to the right side. How can I reset this default? (I’m trying to have images on the left side).

May 1, 2011 at 7:12 am #389248Hi aman204,
Thanks for helping. Are you sure you got the right template code (Rave)? Is this where the file is found (/templates/ja_rave/css)?Because I looked and I can’t find the exact codes you mentioned.
Plus, I would like to the default setting to be neutral/traditional (not defined as left, right, or center). That way, each article can be customized to use any of them.
Thanks again for your help.

The file is right as given by you where the updates are to be done. You can use in ctrl+f to find the reference code and then, make updates accordingly

May 1, 2011 at 8:25 am #389255Are you absolutely sure? I’ve checked, re-checked, and checked again; but can’t find the exact codes you mentioned. For example, I pressed crtl-f and typed “div.article-main” and nothing. I did this using other characters you mentioned, and no luck.

May 4, 2011 at 6:34 am #389722Although the codes aren’t exactly the same, I changed two similar lines but it did not work. The image still aligns to the right and ends up scrambling the whole article. Please see attachment in the other article in this thread for the complete code. Thanks

May 5, 2011 at 6:44 pm #390015Hi aman204,
The misalignement problem only seems to occur on the Front Page. I’ve sent login information to your Private Message box for you to take a look. The login button is on the bottom of screen. ThanksPhill ModeratorPhill

May 5, 2011 at 8:32 pm #390024The allignment of the images for the frontpage is by design and is done with a combination of PHP and CSS. What do you want? To be able to set allignment manually?
To do that open templates>ja_rave>html>com_content>frontpage>default_item.php and replace all the code that contains with the code below.

May 6, 2011 at 7:48 am #390089Hi Phill,
Although your solution seemed to have solved the problem, it unfortunately created another one. Now the images on the front page automatically appear at the beginning of the article when its published, no matter where they are originally located.Meaning, the images in the middle and end of the articles pop up at the beginning. Do you have any suggestions?
