According to Firebug it says the file css_3cdef.css is where I need to change background color. I am unable to locate this file via joomla or Filezilla. Any thoughts? Thank you

Hi

That file was created because you have the option Optimize CSS on Yes, so all CSS files were compressed.

From Template Manager disable the CSS optimization choosing No –> Clean the JaT3 Cache — and refresh your front page

you will see the correct name of all your css files.
