I went into the template manager in the profile section and changed it from text to image, but it changes it back to the template logo. How can i get my own logo there?

You can change image in this directory with your own::

h1.logo a {template.css (line 449)
background:url(“../images/logo.png”) no-repeat scroll left top transparent;
display:block;
height:57px;
width:222px;
}
