Open file template.css and add this code:

but it has changed all the menus. is this possible to change just the color?

For deactive menus, open file template.css and find this code:

#ja-mainnav .main {
background: url(../images/mainnav-bg.gif) repeat-x bottom #fff;
border-top: 1px solid #ddd;
font-family: Constantia, Cambria, Times, serif;
font-size: 100%;
}

Then change background value like my ealier post.
