Hey there,
I have a question:
How can I change the content of a module?
I’m using the JA Quillaja template with Joomla 1.5.If your not sure what I’m talking about go to:
http://www.joomlart.com/templates_club/club_portfolio/ja_quillaja.htmlScroll down to the bottom and you will see a picture with the different modules labeled like this:
User 1
User 2
….
Banner
Left
etcHow can I change the content for these modules?
A quick response would be greatly appreciated.
Thx

June 23, 2008 at 1:33 pm #255528this is basic joomla stuff, and not a template issue
log in and go back to where you changed the title. This is a custom html module which lets you create your own content for a module position
at the bottom you will see “custom output”
that is where you change the content. you can use the default editor or use raw htmldelete what is there and add your content, then save and it should appear in that position on whatever pages you assigned the module to.

Oh man!
I got a huge problem now. My module manager doesn’t work correctly anymore. When I open
a module I only see the top part of it. It looks exactly like the picture I attached before. I dont see the content or anything. I quickly checked on a different joomla site and there everything is fine. Is there a way to reload the modules again? Or do I have to reinstall the whole page ? 🙁mfcphil Friendmfcphil

June 24, 2008 at 12:25 am #255684reinstall, but you may have not done anything wrong, sometimes the installs just get stuck and mess up.
a lot of files have to load and many things need to happen on an install, and if any part of it jams up or loads in the wrong order, you get problems. I have solved many issues with just a clean install.
