My client is requesting to use the member numbers of the association as thier ‘usernames’ instead of them creating a username when they register. Like how a site will use your email to login instead. How would I go about doing this? I’ve tried simply changing where ever it said username to membernumber in the code and database, with some glitchy issues. What is the best way to do this? Thanks.

Ok maybe I”m not clear as to what I need help with; In the default registration form in JA Purity, I need to change the username to say ‘member number’ and have it save it to the database as a 4 digit number. The client wants to use their members assigned numbers for their usernames. So how do I change username in the registration form to say ‘member number’ and then save it to the database and how do I delete or change it in the database? Where in the code do I change this and through phpmyadmin? Thanks
