Hi

The Login in the template, form has a ‘Create an account’ link. When this link is clicked it takes the user to the default Registration page. This default registration page only has User name, email and password. In our website, we have a custom Registration page which takes lot more detailed information (like, name, phone, address etc.). My question is, how do I make the ‘Create an account’ link to point to the custom Registration page we have created and not the standard default one? This way the registration process will be one step and will take all details.

hi… you need to do the following… go to this file

templatesja_opalhtmlmod_logindefault.php

find this line (it is at a couple of places on this file and you will need to update link at all places)
index.php?option=com_user&task=register

here if you have a custom module for registration – you can create a link from menu and then you will get a link like above which you can paste over here…
