What do you mean the default colour? Are you looking to re-design a colour of your own or just use one of the other available supplied options?

The latter is simple. Go to the template manager and look at the General tab. You will see a box called “Profile Override Settings”. This allows you to set what profiles will appear on what pages. The left column marked “Pages” selects what page a profile should appear. The right column marked “Profile” selects which profile will appear.

Out of the box portfolio has onle “All Pages” in the left column and “Default” on the right. If you click on the word “Default” a dropdown will appear with a list of available profiled for you to select. Simply choose the one of your choice but make sure you save the setting and clear all your caches before viewing your page.

Yes, and the username and password do not work. Also there are 3 items required for an ftp logon. The ftp account, the username and the password. You have only sent 2 of the three.

If you can try again and test the accounts work before you send the details I will take a look.

I have your latest PM but once again when I try to logon with the credentials you suppl I get the message “Nombre de usuario y contraseña no encontrados” which I assume means the account you have setup does not have admin access.

Maybe it is better for another supporter to take over from here as I seem unable to gain access.

I have finally been able to logon to your admin panel. When I checked the templates folder you were missing a couple of directories (local and the files and folders it contained) and you had also made some bad edits to templateDetails.xml. I have replaced the missing folder and renamed your templateDetails.xml file (just put an “a” on the end of the xml bit) and uploaded a vanilla copy. Please re apply your changes to that file but take care with your edits. Your edit was causing 1 of 2 xml parsing errors on your homepage. I could not locate the cause of the second but it appears to be from one of your edits somewhere.

I have also been forced to make your params.ini file permissions 777 as these were the only settings that work. That you should talk to your host about. It could be an ownership issue. Leaving it at 777 means the whol world can edit it so please speak to your host. At least now you can save your choice of colour.

    I will continue to investigate.

    Hello Phil

Thanks for your work but I must say that I just uploaded a quickstart template, I don´t know why these files are missing and I never edit template details xml, so must be there is something wrong with quickstart.

About permissions I saw at joomla admin that all required folders were green so I don´t understand also why you must change all to 777 to fix it, I think there is too much work in this template.

Please I have a doubt all folders are 777? If I change to normal permissions I can´t change colour schema?

There is more fails now I can see this message in the frontpage

    * XML Parsing Error at 19:63. Error 76: Mismatched tag
    * XML Parsing Error at 19:63. Error 76: Mismatched tag

    What can I do now?

    Thank you so much again
