    Can anyone explain to me how I can remove the main slide show and leave the 3 images (cleatskins, golden state, and the Innovative) directly sitting below the top menu bar.

    You disable JA Side News Module and JA Slideshow Module

    Thanks Kohand. I played around with what you said and found that disabling the JA Slideshow Module and leaving the JA Side News Module published got me the result I wanted.

    I changed the position for JA Side News Module to masshead. Only problem is now the items that I wanted are sitting to close to the menu bar and are not centered to the site http://www.myjakartaconcierge.com/

    I have tried quite a few other module positions but can’t seem to find the right one. Any suggestions.

    After a lot of fussing around trying various methods and CSS adjustments to what looks to be the actual class’ and ids’ I had no luck and the only work around I found that actually worked was this:

    Go to file: /modules/mod_jasidenews/assets/style.css

    Add the following around line 43, just to keep it with the same CSS for the elements associated.

    div.ja-sidenews {
    margin: 50px 0px 10px 23px;
    }

    However although this adjusts the positioning, I can not find a workaround for the background to be a solid white?

    Thanks Swillett. I will give that a try. What I am trying to end up with is something that looks like the front page of http://www.londontown.com

    I picked this template as I liked the styling.

    I have just seen your site and http://www.londontown.com/. But I don’t understand what you want clearly. Could you explain more? A snapshot with your annotation is very helpful to help me know what you want.

    Hi Khoand,

    Thanks for prompt response. I liked the styling and functionality of the Tiris template. What I wanted to achieve on the front page of my site was to have six of the images with the dynamic text boxes that appears in the JA Side News Module. On the http://www.londontowm.com website they have 8 boxes named Hotels, Restaurants, events and entertainment, London shopping and so on.

    I only want 6 boxes and I want them to start just below the red box that contains the JA Tiris logo.

    Hope that makes a bit more sense.

    You edit Ja Side News module, set Max Articles Display is 6

    Thanks khoand,

    that worked nice and easy.

    I guess now I will have to go into the css files to find a way to make the JA Side News module appear centered on the website as it is sitting to the left at the moment. I cant find a setting to change it so i presume it must be something that I should alter in the html.

    I can’t help you. Because you remove Ja Side News module.

    Ok I think I had it nearly worked out. I had it centered and looking the way I want it. Only problem now is that it does not matter which modules I turned off I could not remove the shopping items from below the main menu bar.

    I thought I would try and be clever and turn off all the articles but that has now resulted in this http://www.myjakartaconcierge.com/index.php/en/
