    I have a Dutch site and use dutch language files, but the JA-NEWS section persistently wants to use the word MORE: to address additional news items. In Dutch it should be MEER: but I frankly want to add a different text altogether because it isn’t realy more, but additional articles, not like a read more button.

    Where is the text for the MORE: located? I know it uses the class .jazin-more but that gets me nowhere.

    I solved it myself. For anyone else having trouble with this problem, the text for the MORE: is located in… *drums* ROOT/modules/mod_janews/tmpl/blog_item.php line 62:

    echo "<strong class="jazin-more">MORE:</strong>n";

    Utter madness… The JA templates look fine but when you have a little thing to change you have to work hours to find the right file hidden under a rock in a basement filled with water and a sign on the door that says “beware of the leopard”. Why would you put variables like that away in shady files?

    This is my last template I am going to use from JA, not gonna update my subscription and move to other providers. Feedback on problems from the admins is nihil and I really cannot spend hours to solve a little problem while a different template only costs a fraction of the time I spend searching.

    JA really should get its support in order and then I’ll talk again. Shame because they have really nice templates… kinda like a Porsche without a garage or fuel station…

    Hi bandbreed500,

    Sorry for the inconvenience, glad you found the solution.

    Certainly to go through the code searching for something is a big task. You can simply it by using windows Grep free utility. It can be downloaded at http://www.wingrep.com/ .

    Thats what i use to search for words and strings in multiple files in one go. No more searching in individual files.

    regards

    arvind.

    Marked the thread as solved.
