You change it in template.css. Look for ‘950px’ and change to whatever you want. You will most likely also need to adjust several other widths to have it all look right.

Your template is currently 950 which is the optimum with for 1024×768 screens. Most of your site visitors will have this size so setting the site wider will mean these users will have to scroll right-left as well as up-down. Visitors don’t like sites like this.
