    Hello,
    how to change the text share (facebook button) ?

    I tried several solutions, but nothing changes.
    There is a part of a solution of facebook :
    http://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/send/ (thank to Himangi)

    But how to apply this code to the facebook button ?

    If I understand it correctly the wording is generated by facebook so you can only control the language as per your link

    The link is mentioned is for the like button. Sorry.
    I don’t find any docs about the share button…
    Is it possible to modify the plug-in ? To put a another “share” text.

    Again, I believe it is generated externaly.

    Ok, there’s no docs about the share button because this button will disappear completely… (replaced by like / recommend)

    We must use the like /recommend button if you we want to have text in a different language.
    And maybe the “share” button ‘ll be deleted in the next version ?

    Ok, now I’m trying to configure the “Facebook Like Settings” …

    If I change “action” : like > recommend. Nothing change on the front page.
    If I set “Show Face” to no; it still show the faces…
    If I change the layout (box count or button count), nothing change.

    and don’t put the position to “After Title Display”, it simply disappears !
    and position “after content display” doesn’t work.

    Who made this plugin completely buggy & crazy ??

    ps : of course I clean the cache every time (JAT3 cache and Joomla cache).

    And therin lies the problem. Not all of the extensions are guarenteed to work with all of the template 100%. However I will do some testing and see if I can get it to work.

    I made some tests with the quickstart of JA Social…and I have all the bugs too !

    So the problem is not the template but the plugin !

    Can you list your bugs exactly and what version of the plugin you are using?

    Joomla 1.6.5, JA Teline 1.1.0 , JA T3 Framework 1.2.9, System – JA Social 1.0.3

    The (too) many bugs are :
    (when I made changes in the JA Social plugin)

    If I change “action” : like > recommend. Nothing change on the front page. The text “like” still appears on the frontpage. Or it will be “recommend.”

    If I set “Show Face” to no; it still show the faces on the frontpage.

    If I change the layout (box count or button count), nothing change on the frontpage.

    If I put the position to “After Title Display”, the display of the plugin disappears on the frontpage !

    If I put position “after content display”, the content stay “before content display” on the front page…

    Do you made a simply test with the quickstart of JA Social template ?

    I will raise a bug report with these issues for the devs to look into. There does appear to be some problems. Please do not expect a fast respons as I know there is a huge amount of work going on right now testing for the next Joomla release.
