October 3, 2011 at 3:28 am #169217In JA Methys template for Joomla 1.7.
I want to change the title “Fashion news” and remove the date display.
The position of “content” does not appear in the options. I conclude that it is impossible to publish something in this position, right?
From what I understand in the “content” articles are displayed “featured”. However, even without any exisit article “featured”, the title “Fashion news” is displayed.
Similarly, no matter the display setting in the category or article, the date is always displayed.
Unfortunately the userguide JA Methys there is no mention about it.TomC ModeratorTomC

The title “Fashion & Shopping” can be changed within the Content Mass Top Banner module within your Module Manager.
Simply change the title (within the wysiwyg editor) or remove it altogether)@felicepreziosi 272280 wrote:
The position of “content” does not appear in the options. I conclude that it is impossible to publish something in this position, right?[/quote]
Try typing in “content” into the position field for the module you want to assign there – then save. This has actually worked for many.

October 3, 2011 at 12:20 pm #416444Sorry Tom, but you made a mistake.
In my post I said “Fashion news”, not “Fashion & Shopping.”
“Fashion news” is located in the “content-main” (http://joomla16-templates.joomlart.com/ja_methys/?tp=1)
This position “content-main” does not appear in the module manager. And there is no module with this title
Try typing in “content” into the position field for the module you want to assign there – then save. – Sorry, but does not work

October 3, 2011 at 5:12 pm #416525Okay, here you go . . . .
– Select “Main Menu” within your Menu Manager
– Select the “Home” menu item
– Click “Page Display Options” parameter (to the right)
– Either select “No” for “Show Page Heading” or change the page heading to whatever you want.

October 4, 2011 at 2:22 am #416616No need to apologize . . . the setting is not all that apparent/obvious.
Good luck with your continued site development !!!
