August 28, 2011 at 9:10 pm #167919Hi guys,
I already saw the thread: ho do i change the text “Top rated hotels in france”. The answer helped me with half my question.
I just dont see how I change the “Top rated hotels in France” on homepage. The solution in the previous threat didnt change this piece of text.
Thanks!

Look in your Administration backend – look and see which position/module is that element attached to – let me know

August 28, 2011 at 9:29 pm #409239I got excatly the same problem. I can remove everything, but not the title. (using joomla 1.7) . I tried to track down the module and according the position lay out (?tp=1) the module should be situated in content-main. However, I’m not able to find any module that is situated in Main. It’s just not there.
Update;
I found it.
You must go into the menu manager:
For menu’s that use “Menu Item type” => “Featured Articles” you can change the title “Top Rated Hotels in France” in the Page Display Options. there you can chance the “Page Heading”TomC ModeratorTomC

August 28, 2011 at 9:46 pm #409244Before I install this template myself to check it out (via Demo Builder or on my localhost), is this element – perhaps – connected to an article item …. or did you look though your Module Manager to see what was assigned to that particular position?
If something is displaying there, then it has to be attached to either a Module or Content item.

August 29, 2011 at 8:17 am #409345Hi guys,
The solution Kmxorbit is talking is about is correct:
For menu’s that use “Menu Item type” => “Featured Articles” you can change the title “Top Rated Hotels in France” in the Page Display Options. there you can chance the “Page Heading”I did make this adjustment and on the page (Blogs) that is connected to the Featured articles the title did change.
My problem is that the title on the homepage did not change.
On the blogspage I was able to change the title to “Maroc Travel Blogs”
http://www.discover-maroc-travel.com/index.php/blogsBut on the homepage it still says “Top Rated Hotels in France”

August 29, 2011 at 8:37 am #409351If only it were so easy I would not have posted my question here 😉
I have been looking into this problem for a while now. Cleaned my browser and Joomla cash numerous times and checked on different computers.
Any other suggestions?

August 29, 2011 at 8:42 am #409352Hi,
Have you changed the k2 category name? I think that this one is from K2 inherited.
Regards
Manos

August 29, 2011 at 9:00 am #409361Petra,
You have to change the title in every menu that uses the “featured articles” type separately.
this will resolve your problem.1 user says Thank You to kmxorbit for this useful post

In my administrator, in components, I dont have “K2”.
I have: Banners, Contacts, Messaging, Newsfeeds, Redirect, Search, Weblinks and Ja-ext-manager.
Thanks!

August 29, 2011 at 9:13 am #409370Hi all,
The last thing kmxorbit said did the trick. I overlooked the fact that the homepage also has the “Featured articles” menu type. I was able to change it in the page display options.
Thanks for all your help!
Petra
