    Hi,

We have tried to install JA University on VPS-Windows hosting that we bought from Godaddy but after installing, everytime we change something on Global Configuration/Administration/Backend of JA University, after that press Save and Close – there is an error message
    “Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator to inform of the time the error occurred and of anything you might have done that may have caused the error. More information about this error may be available in the server error log.”

We have contacted Godaddy support team but after investigating their reply is:
“Thank you for contacting Hosting Support regarding your server ExportHelp2. As I understand it, you have noticed that the IP addresses allocated to your server in the Hosting Control Panel do not match the IP addresses assigned in Plesk, and you are also receiving a 500 Internal Server Error when viewing your website. I apologize for any confusion, however, there is no evidence available that indicates these two issues are related.
Regarding your website, the error message you are receiving should be regarded as a standard 500 Internal Server Error. This would not be related to the IP addresses used by your server, or any other systems we control. A cursory review of your error logs seems to indicate that the theme being used by Joomla is the source of this error. We would recommend that you verify Joomla is properly configured for your server, as well as the functionality of the scripts being used.

We have tried to solve this for two weeks but still don’t know how to fix. Highly appreciate if you could share with us some potential solutions for this. Thank you in advance.

I found a tip from Godday support forum: http://support.godaddy.com/help/article/1655/what-do-i-do-when-i-receive-an-internal-server-error. Have you looked at it?

Thanks for your reply. We still can not fix this issue..so the solution is to change to Linux hosting and everything is alright now.
