I am using the Nex template and wanting to have K2 handle all news articles. I would like the articles and images to appear as they do in the demo – but I need help.
Should I still be seeing the placeholder graphic? If not, how do I remove this?
Why aren’t the images I placed in the articles at the size of the placeholder graphic going into position. I’ve tried placing them with the JCE button and the K2 button (bottom of interface), but they still don’t appear correctly.
The module is too tall – again, how can I get it to appear like the demo after making the switch to K2 articles?

The more I work with this template the more frustrated I become. I am unable to configure content into the module positions anywhere near as clean and tight as the demo. I just tried using the sl1-2 position for the mod_jacontentslider. I included the module class suffix of ” no-bg absolute-title hightlight-title” as the other modules in that position… but can’t make it fit.
I also have trouble with the sl1-3 position for a banner ad. If I just use a custom html module, I can get pretty close – but using the actual banner component and module – it never fits quite right.
I would appreciate any help you can provide.
I’ve found a solution to my main problem, but I still don’t know WHY it’s doing it.
K2 (I guess) keeps adding placeholder graphics into my articles after I save them. I am adding images, but not with the image tab, I’ll try that next. But to fix my main problem, I’ve had to go into each article (item), click the Image tab and checkbox the Remove Image option – then save.
Until I figure this out, I have to do this to every article I create, after i save it – I have to reopen it and remove the image it just added. Yes, I’ve checked the appropriate option to not add a placeholder graphic (I think), but… nothing is working yet.
