    Hi there,

    How to creat a contentslider position (contentslider3) in JA Kranos1.5?

    This position needs to be under positions (user13,user14,user15,user16) and above position breadcrumbs.

    Please advise.

    Thanks!

    Hi Nicole:

    Go into your Template ManagerLayoutsDefault (Edit)

    Toward the bottom, copy the block line <block name=”contentslider2″>contentslider2</block>
    and paste it just above <block name=”navhelper” type=”navhelper”></block>

    – and then rename “contentslider2” to “contentslider3”.

    It should look as follows . . .

    <blockquote><blocks name=”bottom” style=”xhtml”>
    <block name=”contentslider2″>contentslider2</block>
    <block name=”botsl” type=”spotlight” main-inner=”1″ specialwidth=”27″>user9,user10,user11,user12</block>
    <block name=”botsl1″ type=”spotlight” main-inner=”1″ specialwidth=”27″>user13,user14,user15,user16</block>
    <block name=”contentslider3″>contentslider3</block>
    <block name=”navhelper” type=”navhelper”></block>
    <block name=”footer” type=”footer”></block>
    </blocks>
    </blockquote>

    Then open your templateDetails.xml file (within path templates/ja_kranos/templateDetails.xml) and add a position for “contentslider3” as follows . . .

    <positions>
    <position>accordion</position>
    <position>contentslider</position>
    <position>contentslider2</position>
    <position>contentslider3</position>
    <position>masshead</position>
    <position>left</position> . . . .

    SAVE CHANGES . . . CLEAR CACHE

    Now go into your Module Manager and create a new module for type “JA Content Slider” and assign to the new “contentslider3” position you just created.

    And there ya go. 😎

    If you experience any difficulties, let me know.
