Hi please have a look on my homepage:

Following menu is a category blog created with K2
    http://www.ozan-arif.net/index.php/ozan-arif1

And thşs one is created in wall style via ‘normal’ content in joomla:
    http://www.ozan-arif.net/index.php/ozan-arif-wall

    Question:
How to create a category blog in ‘The Wall’ Style with K2?

    Tnx and best regards
    Alp

Uhmm, I simply selected “Ja-wall” template from “category item layout”, editing my K2 category.

Probably I can’t understand what you want to get, sorry.

wolfcub71 is right. Although the full answer to your question is abit more tricky, so I’ll take a dip at it.

Over in the menu manager, click on the menu item that you would like to edit.
    1) On your left hand side, make sure Menu Item Type is set to “Categories” from under K2.
    2) On your right hand side, expand basic options.
    3) If choosing more than 1 categories. Use ctrl / shift to choose or unselect.
    4) If using multiple categories, you need to set the layout options for multiple categories here.
    5) Still under Basic Options, scroll down to Layout options and set select a template to “Ja Wall”
    6) Set Leading Count 0, Primary Count 20, Secondary Count 0, Link Count 0. Columns to 1.

If using single category instead of multiple categories, Layout options would greyed. In this case make sure layout options for single category is set to inherit then save this menu item first.
    1) Go to K2 -> Categories. Click on the category you choose earlier in the menu item.
    2) Expand Category item layout on your left hand side.
    3) Set template to Ja Wall.
    4) Leading Count 0, Primary Count 20, Secondary Count 0, Link Count 0, Columns 1.

That should do it. Now you have the Ja Wall layout. However you might see folders as well for main folders and sub folders appearing on the page. What you need to do is go to the respective categories in K2 and expand Category View options. Set everything in there to hide. Now you have the perfect wall display.

Other notes: I dunno why the documentation says Sub Category block needs to be set to Show. But doing so cause the sub folders to appear. So my guess is the documentation is wrong. I hope this solves your question.

Thank you very much, this was what I was looking for.
Would I bother you too much by askin how I can get rid of the ‘file’ icon and the ‘RSS’ icon?

    Tnx again,

    Best regards,

    Alp
