Create a Newsflash article for Joomla! 1.0

First of all, you should set Editor:

• Go to Admin Panel >> Site>> User Manager
  

• Choose Administrator

• Select TinyMCE WYSIWYG Editor

And now, please follow steps below to create Newsflash module

• Step 1 : Publish module Newsflash and configure parameters. For instance, I set Newsflash module with Position is top, Category is Newsflashes/Newsflash.

• Step 2: Go to Administration panel >> Contents >> Content by Section >> Newsflashes >> Newsflashes Items

or choose Contents >> All Content Items

• Step 3: Click button to create content

• Step 4: Set parameters and edit content, as example below:

• Step 5: Insert image by clicking Image icon in Editor:
• Fill in the path to image and set appearance for image:

Don’t forget to publish this content. Then, your frontpage should look like:
