Greetings,
I’m using JA Corona 1.5
On demo version, there are several menus with pictures and text, such as “Tincidunt vel cursus”, “Lorem condimentum et libero” and “Our works.”
How to create those menus and add pictures/graphics to them like in the demo?
Also, how do I create the menu to the right of the “Search box” like in the demo?
Thank you for your help.

http://www.sinergicyber.comApril 10, 2009 at 11:42 am #300798Hi Iwan.
lamvt is a developer I hired to do the job. Through that, I came to realize that my Corona template didn’t have some of the necessary elements – he, for example, added an image folder that has the clipart for Tincidunt vel cursus, Lorem condimentum et libero, and the Newsflash. He also needed to do some work to make the Newsflash functional. (Had something to do with the flash.)
I also learned that you need to go to Module Manager to deal with the suckers. (I didn’t know they were modules; I thought they were menus.)
For example, Our Works can be positioned on Left or Right column by using the positioning dropdown menu. There, you can also change its order.
You need to click on Our Works (or any other module, such as Tincidunt vel cursus) to edit, add pictures, etc., again in Module mgr. However, Newsflash text you need to edit within Article Mgr.
I still don’t know how to add those little pages to the right of Search feature, but I asked lamvt to make five of them for me so that they don’t run out too soon.
Hope this helps.

http://www.sinergicyber.comThe images that appear on the corona top menus are in the /images/stories folder in Joomla and assigned via the admin area in menu manager, that is find the menu eg home click on it and see the options in system parameters. Better still here’s a link to a short silent movie on changing the existing image on the home menu to another etc

Hi Shannon, your video is great! Show me a clear way to change the icon of main menu. 🙂 But unfortunatelly that was no I asked. I planned to change the icon of user 1 & 2 , with small icon in it. Could you make another video for us? 😉
I believe it is very useful. Joomlart must consider to give us video presentation to install every template.regards
