April 28, 2015 at 9:44 pm #205916I have a rather long submenu for my news categories, linked to the mega menu via a menu module.
http://awesomescreenshot.com/0d44v601a3
I would like to display that submenu in 5 columns of 20 items each.
Can it be done? How?

April 29, 2015 at 12:31 pm #568818I couldn’t find any reference in there to how to make menu module based submenus multi-column.

April 30, 2015 at 6:40 am #568904As it turns out, menu modules linked in the mega menu cannot be displayed in multi-columns. The way I’ve worked around this is that I COPIED, not MOVED the menu items into the top menu, as submenu items of the main menu item that I want to open the submenu.
The reason why I COPIED the menu items is so that Joomla will open the articles or blog view irrespective of whether the URL includes the name of the main menu item. That way http://therebel.is/en/editorials and http://therebel.is/en/news/editorials both work.
