Please advise how to make the slideshow module in the JA Business template into two module spaces, such as slideshow and slideshow2.
It would seems the steps would be:
Step 1: Create a new block, slideshow2.php with the following in it:
<?php /*Slideshow 2*/ ?>
<?php $this->genBlockBegin ($block) ?>
<div class=”slideshow2″>
<jdoc:include type=”modules” name=”slideshow2″ />
</div>
<?php $this->genBlockEnd ($block) ?>Step 2: In the layout panel, click new (or copy and existing file) and add the following lines, rename the file, such as default-slideshow2.xml
<block name=”slideshow2″ type=”modules” style=”raw” ></block>Step 3: In the Layout tab, select the new layout (default-slideshow2.xml) for the Desktop layout. Apply it.
Step 4: Publish a module to the “slideshow2” module space, by typing in “slideshow2” in the Module position input box.
Step 5: Adjust the template.css file. Please advise best way to do this.
Thank you in advance.

May 3, 2011 at 10:05 am #389604Hi,
Can you please provide your site url and explain what exactly you wish to achieve with 2 slideshow modules? After seeing your site it will be easy to give solution..
May 3, 2011 at 11:17 pm #389699Here is a link to the site: http://67.213.222.45/~sonrise/
We want to create a module to the right of where the slideshow module is and use it as shown in the mockup. The area will be similar to the right module just beside the slide show area. (To the right of the original slide show area only).
I am trying to turn back on the slideshow on the site, but for some reason it will not show. I hope the graphic helps

May 5, 2011 at 11:41 am #389974Hi,
I have changed the layout code from <blockquote><block name=”slideshow” type=”modules” style=”raw”>slideshow</block></blockquote> to <blockquote><block name=”slideshow” type=”spotlight” style=”raw” special=”right” specialwidth=”25″ >slideshow,slideshow-r</block></blockquote>
You can change specialwidth=”25” to anything, it sets the width right column because I have defined special=”right“.I have created 2 test modules and have published 1 at slideshow-r position, that is the right column of your slideshow and another published in slideshow position, below your slideshow module..
