How to disable “CPANEL” on top right hand side? I find a preview , but I can’t find out the module on the joomla system.
Please help…
August 20, 2010 at 3:28 pm #353273I would like to know this too, please. It is a nice feature but m customers should see our brand not something they choose. Perhaps there ist a possibility, to make the size features available, only.

August 20, 2010 at 3:45 pm #353276Hi,
You can disable the CPanel in Administration.
1) Log in to Administration
2) Go to Extentions -> Template Manager, then click on the JA_Droid3) On the right hand side, click on the Profiles Tab
4) Set all options of User Tools to “Hide”
5) Done! The CPanel gone

Thanks, that was great an I am a big step further to be glad. I think at the beginning there are much differences to the standard joomla template management, so we both didnĀ“t match “user Tools” and “cpanel”. Perhaps you integrate a (cpanel) in the alt Text of the (?) description. Nice Weekend.
August 20, 2010 at 5:01 pm #353278Thank you for both the question and the reply. I would have forgotten about that. I think I’m going to experiment with this locally first to get an understanding of everything.
August 26, 2010 at 6:03 am #353722I have done as instructed but the cpanel still displays….. also I cannot get the color to permenantly change to green… it just seems to default back to default (blue) on other computers..need help urgently with this please
August 29, 2010 at 8:35 pm #354051Yes, I have gone through these steps as well, and the cPanel link is still showing.

September 3, 2010 at 2:27 pm #354534Had the same problem:
– color theme didn`t change
– cPanle didn`t go awaySolution: I have`t used the right profile. Go play with the profile, I used the DEFAULT profile after I created new ones.
But after all I used the Default-Profil and all the changes where shown right away…
September 4, 2010 at 8:42 pm #354642Hi All,
I’m struggling with this same issue. I’m able to set all the user tools to “hide”, but when I hit the “apply” button, my machine goes into an infinite loop and the changes are not saved. I have to manually close the page to continue working.
If this is a permissions problem, what path/file would I need to change to keep the updates to the default profile?
Thanks in advance for your help.

September 4, 2010 at 10:00 pm #354645The reason for your trouble might be that you haven’t entered your ftp user name and password. If you find a horisontal layout across the browser window when you are going to edit the template, try this:
1) Enter your ftp details. Click apply, then close.
2) Go back to edit the template again. Now you will most likely find the ftp fields gone and a vertical layout which works. It did work work for me. I hope it works for you as well.
