I would like to disable the submenu in the top menu bar. Please help.
I will only have the top level menu and no submenu on my site

In the Joomla’s menu manager, open the menu set as default for the top menu bar (in demo, if I’m not mistaken, it’s magazine, I use mainmenu).

Submenu items are set as child menus to a parent one. Just disable them.

Also, in the template’s configurations of version 1.4 you’ll find Start Level End Level options. Try to set both to 0.

    Thanks for your help.
I did try changing both and disabled all the sub menus and also set the begin and end level to 0.
But still there was this blank bar showing, but then I changed the menu type in template setting from “Drop Line” to Split Menu and that did the magic, now I dont see the sub menus or the bar.
