The featured articles on the homepage displays the full length article on the same page. This makes the page too long when the article is clicked on. Is there a way to display the full article on a different page other than the home page? Thanks.

January 15, 2013 at 7:55 am #479793Hello faizbash,
You should put your introduction text of an article to “intro” section. This can be done by using “Read more” button on editor when you create or edit an article.
Regards.

I have always done what you suggested and the “Read more” link appears fine but when one clicks on the “Read more” link, the full article displays on the same page (home page).

January 17, 2013 at 9:40 am #480148Hello faizbash,
When an item is opened in the home page that means there is no menu item referring to it or referring to the category which it belongs to. In this case, you need to create a menu item somewhere that points to those items or to the categories which they belong to.
Regards.

I created a menu for the article category and I was able to open the article in a different page.
Thanks again.
