There have been various attempts to display search results on a separate page, rather than at the bottom of the front page, but I’m wondering if there is a definitive fix for the Teline IV design?

The only way I have managed to do this is to go Module by Module and make sure that on the Menu Assignment, the other modules do not show with the Search.

So, instead of selecting “All“, try chossing “Select Menu Item(s) from the List” and unselect Search. If it works for you, please let us know.

I found an easier way by following the direction in this joomla.org message thread. Essentially, you create a menu, attach a menu item of type search, replace that url for the default search module code and your searches will open on a new page. So far, I haven’t found a way to correct the problem without hacking the code.

This method works and the fix should become part of future updates of the template.
