March 21, 2009 at 10:46 am #297135Hi dumindard
Check the module manager and find out which modules are published in the ‘Body’ position. I haven’t downloaded Opal yet but feel the answer could be a mod in Body location.

March 21, 2009 at 11:03 am #297141In Admin, check the ‘Front Page Manager’ and see if the articles listed are the ones showing on that area of the site.

March 21, 2009 at 11:27 am #297143Do you have the QuickStart in a live URL?
If so, if you can send me SuperAdmin access I’ll gladly take a look myself!
I’m not JA staff but you can PM me password if you are happy for me to try find the problem.

March 21, 2009 at 1:49 pm #297166Those three articles circled by you are managed through the Front Page manager.
Here is the screen shot.

I hope the screenshot helps “questbg” too in understanding the problem.

March 21, 2009 at 2:05 pm #297170Thanks drarvindc
I thought it may be a Front Page issue.
So, I guess (maybe you can tell me drarvindc) do you have JA News Front Page module with this template? I so, you should be able to change the number of articles by editing the module

March 21, 2009 at 2:43 pm #297183thanks all.
but i think you all didn’t understand the problem..in screenshot their is 3 news item below the main article.if i want to add 4 news items or reduce how can i do that??because if i publish new article one will gone..if i unpublish one article two will remain so that not a issue..
if that design came from the specific module or the programmers coded in that option in the codings??because if i want to do this kind of display for another template how can i do that???Arvind Chauhan ModeratorArvind Chauhan

March 21, 2009 at 2:56 pm #297185aaah, so we were banging our heads on the wrong wall. Well the solution is at
menus > main menu> Home > Parameters (basic).
Attaching the screenshot for your reference.
I could add extra article to the frontpage by altering the “intro = 3” “intro = 4” . That pushes the leading article to intro article and the new article is published as the lead article.
To retain symmetry, publish “intro = 6” so that you have 3 articles up and 3 articles in the second row.
