“Donating” points is not an option, actually . . . as they are not the equivalent to “currency” or anything like that.

To whom/why would you be “donating” points?

So you set up an entirely new account – rather than renewing this previous one?
What is the username for your new account?

I was not able to renew it. There was no option to downgrade. That compelled me to sign up with a new username. 🙂

Or is it possible to keep my existing username, despite having bought a new membership?

yes iguinee,

let me help you with that. Please share the other username. I shall see what i can do and try to bring you back on this username.

Point transfer is not possible with the new system in place. The earlier rdemption plugin was never updated to support the latest versions of VBulletin so the alternative is no good.
