November 4, 2009 at 7:47 pm #145756Hi
I established that the CSS code used on Module Class Suffix for _deault is not fully set up, all the margins and padding looks great but…
I eventually worked out that I needed to use the _hilite mod class suffix parameter to get the correct a:link a:hover colours as the _default parameters made them invisible against the background.
However, on the _hilite parameter, the H3 title has padding and the top and bottom margins are unnecessary, making the three module boxes User1, 2 and 3 to large.
Could someone tell me where to change the CSS parameters please – I’ve spent hours, so over to you.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Nigel

November 4, 2009 at 7:57 pm #322570Have you tried using the firebug plugin for filezilla? You should be able to find all the css you want to change in seconds.

November 4, 2009 at 8:07 pm #322573Hi Phil
Just up the M1 from me!!!!
Yes, I’ve got Firebug, but I must be a bit frazzled. I’ve been right through it, but clearly I don’t quite know what I’m doing. I either need to add parameters to moduletable_default or edit moduletable _hilite, but I’d like to find out which css file I need to edit and if I simply need to copy, paste and edit the code from one to the other.
What would you suggest?

November 4, 2009 at 8:23 pm #322575Can you provide a link to your site on a page showing your problem module along with a few more details of what you want? I am not 100% sure exactly what you are trying to achieve.

November 4, 2009 at 8:31 pm #322576Hi
Hi, if you take a look at http://www.clearvoice.co.uk you will see that I have User 1 & 2 using the mod class suffix _hilite icon1, 2 and I have used mod class suffix _default icon3 in user 3.
The top margin is greater on the first two and the H3 title has padding, but I can’t work out where it can be changed.
Also, you can see that the “Read more” link has disappeared.

November 5, 2009 at 12:42 am #322589Nigel as a quick fix
from how I understand your request I think that you may achieve the desired result by editing template.css at line 773. Reduce the margin to 0 pixels and this will line up boxes 1 and 2 to the same height as box 3. Obviously if you use the hilite class on any of your modules, you have now removed the 15px margin around the module.
Your readmore link is still there, its being hidden as the colour (color) for the links is set to the same colour as the background.
Hope this helps
