    Hi all,

as my problem is not yet solved I ask again if somebody can help me:

I have installed the quickstart-version of the template and would like to use the JA News module just like a slide show – without any text.

The problem is that there is no button to hide the Read-More Link in the module parameters in the quickstart-version of the template.

So what can I do to get it off?
Is there any chance to modify the code somewhere?

    Please, plese, please help.

    Kind regards
    tumbaman

readmore is determined by the article – not the ja news component.

In the articles that are “submitted” to JA News module, make sure that the read more (or red dotted lines) are deleted. 🙂

    Hi lukesnark,
many thanks for replay, but unfortunately you are not rihgt.
That was also my first idea that the article should have the button to hide the read more but it does not. That´s the problem. screenshot attached:

    * Have a look in the actual article … if you were editing the text.

    * Go the the part of the article where you are seeing read more in JA News

    * Is there a red dotted line? (or something similar?)

    * Edit the text so the article flows on with no interruptions 🙂

Let me know how it goes.

    Hi luksnark,
I have attaches 3 screenshots where you can see the following:

    * The article is just an image
    * The html code contains only the image information
    * The frontend shows the title of the article as well the read-more link

In my opinion the haedline and the read-more link are hard coded in the news module.

    Have you got another idea?

    Many thanks
