    Hello,

I started configuring the future site, and it appears that some letters from Serbian language (namely Đ, č and ć) seem to be converted to “?” when entered as Menu items, Articles or Module names.

On the other hand, some other language-specific letter such as Š and Ž are saved and appear correctly.

Can you advise on how to make these work?

    Thank you for your time!

    Hi @crnamrlja,

Because those characters are not available in English, please install appropriate language pack (make sure to add new Content language as well) then recheck.

    I did that, both. Still, only Ž and Š appear, and Č Ć and Š don`t.

I think this has something to do with database table collation which is “latin1_swedish_ci”. Or maybe not?

SOLVED: user should change collation of the blank database via phpmyadmin before installation and then it is okay.
