I am using JA Barite for 1.0.x for a site and got it to work. Yet I cannot figure out how to enable the mass_bot, mass_top, right1 and right2 module positions. Help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Go to Site> Templates > Module Positions and add them to the list, then go and change the modules appropriately.

i sent you an email yesterday but have yet to receive a reply. i figured the part out about the module positions, however only RIGHT1 and RIGHT2 work, SLIDE, MASS COL1, MASS COL2 and BODY do not.

I had the same problem as well. My solution was to take the index.php from templates/ja_barite in the quickstart and uploaded it to my website. Actually, I had taken the whole ja_barite and uploaded it to my site. Everything “popped” right into place, except the copyright information 🙁

I am sure these folks solved their problem already, but in case new people come around that have this same problem, the solution is that the name of the module positions is not mass col1 or anything like that – they are mass_top and mass_bot – once you add these, you’ll be fine.

    Old post.

    In your adminpanel,

    Site_Template manager_module positions

    mass_bot
    mass_top
    right1
    right2

    Save. The positions are ready.

These module positions are not standard, you’ll have to name them yourself.
Go back-end and open modulepositions as i described in my previous post.
type mass_bot and mass_top in two diffrent fields. Save.
Open the module manager and you will get these two positions as new options.
Remember to publish the module 😉
