How to fix footer bar to the bottom of the page ?

If I set :
bottom:0;
position:fixed;

I have issues : I have a black bloc on the left.

If i set min-height, the display is different depending on the screens.

I would be pleased to have any advise, to fix the footer bar at the bottom of any page even if the page is almost empty.
