    Here’s where I’m working: http://97.74.140.117/

How do you get pages to show up on the home page in those category sections?

    Hi Katandmouse

    What do you mean exactly?
I can see there are already articles on the front page.

Do you mean specific articles from a category to only appear?

Only as full articles or like a blog format as yours appears?

The ones that are appearing came with the template and were already set. I want to set new pages to appear there instead of the ones they have, but I can’t figure it out.

You need to go into Article Manager and delete all the articles that came with it (that way you are either left with nothing, or only your articles).

This will clear the front page.

Next, you need to select which pages you want to appear on the Front Page in the Article Manager by ticking the Front Page button, enabling them to appear on the Front Page.

This way, the article you choose will only appear there.

If you are happy with the blog setting currently on the front page, then it’s fine. Otherwise, you can change it to other settings.

If you need me to do this for you – send me a PM!

Thank you for your help. I deleted all, but when I tick “Front Page,” it appears in the slideshow, not down below. If you look now, they’ve all disappeared but one and that one does NOT have “Front page” ticked. I’m so confused.

    Hi katandmouse

Send me a PM for a temporary administrator account details (username and password)
and I’ll take a look for you.

I won’t be able to help unless I see what you’ve done.

Ok, so the issue you have is that you did not remove any of the demo content. So you’ve got a mix of unnecessary stuff everywhere.

Firstly, sort out your articles into their correct categories and sections.
Then, choose the ID numbers of the category or section that you want to display on the front page.
You can only have one type appear categories or sections.

Now, go to Module Manager -> JA News 1.3.1.

Now, under Parameters, choose either Category or Section.
Now, enter the Category or Section ID numbers that you want to appear on the front page.

You can mess about with the rest of the settings e.g. Intro Items and Columns to change how it looks.

If you need more help, please let me know!
