October 5, 2010 at 3:25 am #154949I have chosen HIDE in Front Page Manger, Article Parameters (Global) and Article Parameters on the article itself and the author and date/time still continue to appear on the home page.
What am I missing?

October 6, 2010 at 12:45 pm #357934Please check now as the settings were set to show in
menu item manager >> home >> parameters(component) which I have set to hide now and it appears fine
October 7, 2010 at 7:07 pm #358099Hello:
Thanks for the posting because I was about to ask the same question.
So I followed all of your instructions and “author” and “publish date/time” are gone. Also in the Main Menu>Home..configuration, I also clicked “hide” for the “hits” button. So all is fine for the Home page.
But when I click on the bottom article (L’hotel) “read more” from the Front Page, I’m taken to the next article that shows “Hits”. I looked at configuration for that article and it doesn’t show anywhere where I can turn off the “Hits”.
I’m attaching 2 pictures:
1) the Front Page where everything is fine…and then
2) the link page to “read more” with the “Hits” still showing. Thanks for helping.

October 7, 2010 at 7:37 pm #358102there are 2 ways to change this.
1) from the menu configuration as shown above, in the parameters section, scroll down and it’s past PDF, Email, etc.
2) In the article manager (not the individual article, but the article control panel) look for the icon near the top right called Parameters. you can turn off hits here – it’s located in the area with PDF icons, Email, etc.
October 8, 2010 at 7:41 am #358175Got it. Thank you!
