March 18, 2014 at 5:55 am #195884Hi Support,
I question regarding the Captcha-Recaptcha. I have got the keys and enabled the Captcha-Recaptcha in ‘Global Configuration’ and also in the ‘Plugin’ and at first it was fine then it no longer works.
I have tried deleting cache and enable and disabling the ‘Global Configuration’ and ‘Plugin’ and only the word “Captcha *” is showing.
How can i fix this issue?
Thanks,

It seems there is an issue of Incorrect public and private key.
I requested you to create public and private key from this link> https://www.google.com/recaptcha/admin/create
and add these keys into Re captcha plugin settings.
Hope it helpsjohntemp Friendjohntemp

March 19, 2014 at 4:55 am #527281Hi Pankaj,
The public and private keys I got is originally from the site you had mentioned. I have also deleted and created new public and private keys and the image is still not showing up on the site.
Is there any other reason why it would not show up? Could there be any conflict with other plugins?
Thanks

March 20, 2014 at 12:11 am #527391Hello,
I’ve upgraded to J! 3.2.3 and ReCaptcha is working fine for me. The ‘fix’ suggested has already been implemented into Joomla! (3.2.1 I think).
I would hazard a guess, you do not have a ‘global’ recaptcha keys. i.e. you build the website at “test.mydomain.com” and then moved it to “mydomain.com” This can break recaptcha.
I would re-register at Google, but this time, make sure the keys you create are ‘global’ keys so they cover all sub-domains (i.e. test.mydomain.com. To do this, tick the “Enable this key on all domains (global key)” tick box just below where you enter the domain name and you should be OK.
If that doesn’t fix it, I would then look at conflicts.
Hope this helps! 😀

You can’t fix this because the file recaptcha.php in my website have the correct link for the js file. It comes from the 3.2.2 that I have installed less than 1 month ago… and with joomla 3.2.2 captcha works perfectly
In the same hosting I have a subfolder with Jommla 3.2.2 and Putity iii installed!!the capcha works fine!
So, could you please explain how to fix the issue by myself?I have tried to replace the file that you mentioned… but it still does not work :((
this is the registration form link where is located the subfolder with joomla 3.2.2
this is the main registration form of my website with Joomla 3.2.3 (captcha does not work)
I always install a subfolder in order to test the template before build a website in order to avoid issue like this…
but with Purity iii this seems to be not enough 🙂chavan Friendchavan
