    @fermusic

    Kindly try this

    Step 1:

1.Go to Global Configuration, and select the “Site” tab.
    2. Choose “Captcha – Recaptcha” in your “Default Captcha” field.
    3. Click Save & Close.

    step 2:

    1. Go to your User Manager. You can find this under Users along the top menu or in the buttons on the main page of your Administrator panel.
    Choose one of the following

    2. “Use Default” in your “Default Captcha” field. (This is the default setting and follows the “Default Captcha” field setting in Global Configuration)

    3. “None Selected” in your “Default Captcha” field. (This setting ignors the “Default Captcha” field setting in Global Configuration. Used when you want Recaptcha in Contact forms but not in the Registration form.)

    4. “Captcha – Recaptcha” in your “Default Captcha” field. (Only needed if “Default Captcha” field setting in Global Configuration is set to “-None Selected-” and when you want the Recaptcha in contact form but not in the Contact forms).

    5. Click Save & Close

this is the main registration form of my website with Joomla 3.2.3 (captcha does not work)

I always install a subfolder in order to test the template before build a website in order to avoid issue like this…
but with Purity iii this seems to be not enough

    Hello @fermusic,

Looking at your site, I would try disabling the ‘Login’ form in the sidebar and removing the ‘Language’ bar from there as well, clear all caches and see if this helps.

Also, try turning off any JS optimisers, especially if using something like CloudFlare CDN because this has been known to cause problems.

Hope you manage to get it sorted out soon! 🙂

    Steve
