I have Ja methys installed on Joomla 1.5.22.

my url is http://new.eastcoastvillage.org

when I access the site from the above url I get the News section on the front page. page title shows “news”. with more than one article it shows one leading and the others in two columns.

when I click the home menu item, I get my welcome page with the same articles, but in one column as I have set in the home menu item parameters. because of the crappy look I now only have one article until it’s fixed, but I need to show more than one.

why does the index.php not show the same thing as the home menu item? what do I need to fix to get it to work?

you must set the default Menu as Home.

Go to Main Menu:

click on the checkbox to the right of the home Menu and then Click on the star button on the top right Menu [ default button].

By doing this the home page can be switched.
