This is surely something really, really simple.

I can’t seem to get modules to appear on main article content pages.

    For example…. http://www.sypfantasyhockey.com
Click on ‘SYP Playoff Pool…” and you will see that I don’t have any modules on that page.
Yet they are there when you go to ‘Community’ from main menu.

I figure I am just missing a parameter, but I swear I am either blind, or just can’t see. :p

    Hi Prof

Open the Module in your Module Manager.

On the bottom left you have a ‘Menu Assignment’ area. Just select “all”if you want the module to appear on all pages or select “Select Menu Item(s) from the List” and select which sections and categories you want the module to appear on.

    Hope that helps!

Thanks Chris. Yes I knew that. The modules are still not showing up on main article content pages.

Now that really is weird. Via the menus, all is OK. Any article and the modules disappear?

Nice looking site … I really like the module styling.

Perhaps time to open a ‘premium support’ ticket and see if JA Staff can spot something?

Hi Chris, yeah thanks…you are right. I will send in a suport ticket.

It’s so strange. For menu assignment, if I select “ALL”. the module shows up on all the pages. If I select Select Meneu Items From the List and deselect just one thing, (ie Forum), the module disappears from all main content pages.

Hoping this is a JA problem that can be fixed, and not a conflict with an extension.

Thx for the kudos on the site. Still lots to do. I have to figure out a couple hacks to the code to display different icons beside article headers in ‘Latest Articles’ and ‘Latest FanBlogs’ sections, and I’m trying to find a way to have different module backgrounds. Probably going to hit up joomlancers for those as it’s a little too complex for me. :p Of course…oonce you hire someone to do it, you learn it yourself, so it’s worth it.
