Can I edit the spans allocated to the menu items and the sec nav icons so as to get, say, 10 + 2 instead of 9 + 3. If so where / what do I edit?

Reason is mainly that I changed font from ‘ArialNarrowBold’ (too heavy) to ‘Arial Narrow’ but although OK on a Mac it doesn’t feel happy on a windoze PC. i.e. no Arial Narrow common font.

    Maybe there is another solution?

Update: I have changed font to Helvetica, Arial; and 13px size. Does it look OK on a PC?

Not entirely certain about what you’re referring to …. Perhaps a screenshot mock-up depicting the issue ??

Which part – the main nav menu? Other elements?

    Hi Tom,

This really a followup from a question I asked a while ago about the top_menu (in the footer) of http://www.globalprintmonitor.info

Ninja man explained how to get more room for menu items down below. see: http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/layout-of-top-menu/o I thought I could perhaps do same on main_menu. There seems to be plenty of room for Icons in sec_nav positions even if only span 2. I might need 5 icons eventually.

BTW The site is on a temporary underpowered server struggling to get mySQL connections so you might need to reload a few times.
