Hello Forum,

i installed JA Events for J1.6 now the third time, but the static adv wont work as they are supposed to do. (quickstart with demo DB, no additional modules/comps/plugs/langs…, expect J1.6.3 update)

all they do ist changing the image, but mouseover doesnt give the effect it should. Tooltip with description. i tried with FF, IE, Chrome.

The same probleme you have on the demo installed here on joomlart.com, only one of those things work (well atleast one 😛 )

Any solutions?

Thanks for your report. I have checked the demo in FF4 and IE9. FF4 works well, however IE9 the adv modules not work. I have reported this bug:

Hi,

im sorry to correct you, i just rechecked the demo and my test site.
But only the 2nd works in FF/IE/Chrome – the first one doesnt display anything.

To fix this issue, you just update parameters in the slideshow module for Static adv1 as below:

– Profile = events2

– Skin = event2

– Add descriptions for each item: description here

– Show Description = Description only
We will reexport database quickstart for JA Events also
