If I understand correctly, the JA Teline home page shows sections such as Asia-Pac, World, etc, and articles under those.

I don’t want to have that as my home page, but rather a page off the main menu. How would I do that? What would the mainmenu item type be?

never mind, created a dummy section and used list-section.

Now why JA-News doesn’t want to show up on my actual homepage anymore, that’s another thread altogether 🙂

ok, i’m lost. Can someone help a brutha out?

Specifically, look at http://www.rockridgeresidents.org . Then press the “sections” button at the top, and note the section overview below.

No idea why I can’t get the homepage to show me the same section overview as on that page. I’ve specified the correct pages in the module box. Is there something else?

I love threads where I end up answering my own questions. Well, I didn’t really answer it, I just couldn’t figure out how to get my “Home” page working, the menu item was a “component-frontpage” item. So I unpublished it, and now my home page is my “section” page, which is a link-static content page.

    Whatever, it all works now.
