I did this once before, and can’t remember how I got it to work. I can’t get any ‘boxes’ to appear on the home page. I created several articles, and made them ‘featured’ but they don’t show up. What’s the trick?

Beside this you need to choose the article type and grid size from article options when u create them

For what it’s worth, I discovered that I hadn’t set any categories for the articles. So the ‘boxes’ didn’t show up on home.
Hope this helps someone else.
