In past versions, when you click on the main JA Job Board component from the list of components on the site, it would go to the Admin Dashboard. But with the latest version, it goes to the Job Manager. How can I change it back?

For most of easy way you can use external link. And put your owned link into menu item.

Thanks for the response, but I’m not sure how to do that. Everything I see involving customizing the admin menu requires a custom module of some sort…

Hi,

In order to change menu link of JA JobBoard in back-end, go to file: administratorcomponentscom_jajobboardcontroller.php
find for:

JRequest::setVar('view', JRequest::getCmd('view', 'JaJobs'));
then change to:

JRequest::setVar('view', JRequest::getCmd('view', 'jajobboard'));
