I am using ja_university on a joomla 3.x installation.

I would like to put logo along with the logo text and a slogan below that.

Could you please help me out on this?

Dear Pavit,

I would like the “September 2012 JA Template” & “UNIVERSITY” as text along with the image logo of university on the left side.

The reason is that I am using a site translation module, so when the other language is selected I would like the site name also to get translated to that language. When it is an image, it is displayed as it is. And when I select the logo area as “TEXT” i do not have the option to simultaneously load the institute logo “image” on the left.

Any help on this will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi

Logo text and logo image have 2 different settings in php files of template , so if you choose image as logo you haven’t the text showed because they are using same position

So you have to modify your logo position and works also on profiles customizations

Pratically you will need to add a new position on the left of the actual logo position , choose as logo the text logo and when you create new profiles you can change the logo text for that profile.

Example : profile French – will be used on all pages of french menu – customlogo position ( you can add your customized logo image using a custom-html module published only on that pages ) logo will be textlogo with the title translated in French.

As you can see this is an heavy customization of the template .
