Hi,
I’m trying to create a menu that links directly to the article, instead of an isotope layout that has only one article in. Like suggested in the first attachment ( the module of the menu on top is Articles-Catagories).
However, I couldn’t define the alternative layout in the module Articles-Catagory as I did in Articles-Catagories given that it’s not prorposed in the menu, shown in the second attachement.
The result, as you could see in the third attachment is that I have now the orange, verticle menu that I want on the top of the back horizontal menu that I want to replace.
So let me summarise: I want the module Articles-Catagory to be layed horizontally like the Articles-Catagories module.
Where could I then define, personalise the alternative layout of my Articles-Catagory module as the Articles-Catagories module?
Thanks

April 1, 2016 at 6:48 am #907852Hi,
By default, Articles Catagory module does not support horizontal style and you have to make the custom file for Articles Catagory module in the path templates/ja_mono/html/mod_articles_category as its in Articles Catagories module
templates/ja_mono/html/mod_articles_categories/horizontal.php templates/ja_mono/html/mod_articles_categories/horizontal_items.php

I’m not seeing any response here, is it normal?
April 1, 2016 at 12:26 pm #907998Hi,
Thanks for responding.
I think I might need to tweak some of the codes from the two php. files from Articles-Categories because when I copie the files directly, the menu does not lead to the article, when I click on the sub-menu it goes to homepage, not the article.
In the attachment is the screenshots of the two files, if you could just let me know where to change, I’d be appreciated.
Again, thanks for making this possible.

I figured it would be that difficult. Thanks for the advice. One more question though:
Where could I modify information underlined in the attachment? I think I know if I could manipulate the link somewhere.
Or maybe, to customise the module Articles-Categories so that instead of the list of articles in categories, it shows the article in the category. Given that I have ONE article in each category, would this be possible?
Thanks
