I would like to hide the JA ACM article highlighter Module on Article pages

Hi

You can unpublish your JA ACM Module ( [Magazine – Tech] – Featured news ) published in news-tech position and assigned to Technology menu item

Hi Pavit,

If I unpublish the JA ACM modul, it will disappear from the article page (this is Ok). But it will also disappear from the "main techology page" too 😉 I would like to keep it visible there.

I mean it will disappear from here… http://ja-teline-v.demo.joomlart.com/index.php/en/technology

(in my template it is in home-1 position actually)

You should not use Home-1 position for it because such position is available for both templates styles
magazine-home (main category page ) magazine( Article page sublayout )

So you should create new positions like i showed above news-tech, news-home-news-sport etc etc and assign your JA ACM Module to that specific position

To assign these positions to the specific menu item you should edit it and in Position settings declare the virtual position

So if you edit your Technology menu item and you set it as Special Page blank content and assign to it in position settings the news-tech position then your JA ACM Module will be visible only in the Main category page

OK, This is clear so far.

Last question: How to set the layout?

• I think there is a main layout + a sub layout right?
• And I have to assign positions to certain boxes in the layout, right?

Last question: How to set the layout?

There is a predefined layout style in quickstart version of the template , it is the JA Teline V – Magazine

This template style has as main page layout the magazine-home layout while as sublayout ( article page ) the magazine layout .

You do not need to assign new positions , just create new virtual positions in to main menu items like
news-home , news-tech , news-sport etc etc as i already showed above
