    Hello all,

Please go to marinafoods.com and notice the text in the footer.

On the left it says “2005-2009 marinafoods.com” and on the right it says “designed by joomlart.com”

I would like to do one of the following, ideally I would remove both of these bits of text and put in designed by “Company name”. If I can’t do that, I’d just like to remove the footer completely but it is not a module as it was with other templates I worked with.

    Please advise!

Part of the standard terms and conditions are that you leave the footer in tact. If you wish to remove it you have to pay a small fee for which you get full instructions on how to do so (That is how I understand it)

What I was told before was that you can have it displayed on the page however you want but you HAVE to keep the copyright info in the code.
The only question is HOW to get it to display te way I want to or how to just delete the footer altogether.

    I figured it out myself

I have never worked with a template where it was so easy to do. It was right there in the HTML and I just edited the line I wanted and removed the other one. Jawesome!

If that is the case then you could just disable the current module in the footer position and create a custom html one containing what you want.

Other templates it is in the html.

*edit – Oh, you already managed it. Well done.
