April 1, 2009 at 12:27 am #139806I remember requesting this feature ages ago and don’t know it was always there or if it’s new but if you want to ignore posts from a particular member or members you can.
Click on User CP>Edit Ignore List> Enter the members username and voila! It’s as if they’re banned. You see a small note saying they have posted but the post is hidden.
Thank you JA!!! No more having to separate all the bulls**t from the useful posts!

HI Scotty
yeah I been using that for a while now to keep from having to see a couple of ppl’s posts, as you said it’s a relief not to have to hear one sprout pseudo philosophy to give the appearance of intelligence, or the same non English speaker trying and failing to correct a native Englishmans grammer. like they say, “ignorance is Bliss!”ShannonN

April 1, 2009 at 2:59 am #299370And, I shall always wonder. But then again, it may be worth it. 🙂
I was thinking about this the other day when I was seething mad. But did not know how to do it. I wasted so many days calming myself and getting back on focus.
I am sure I would be in some people’s ignore list, but what the heck.
Thanks for the tip, Scotty. I like it but bothered by it at the same time. It violates one of the things I want to believe in and makes me sad, in a way. But then again, I too am just human. Time must not be wasted with pettiness.

What is it you want to believe, that given an egalitarian world everything would be peachy rosy and there would be no need for conflict or horror or greed? Hey, It would be nice, but sadly it isn’t likely to happen, no matter how much a few nice kind generous ppl do, there will always be greed, poverty etc “the sinful nature of man after the fall”

Thanks ShannonN, for pointing it out to me the other day, I have been using the feature since then. It helps and saves the trouble of reading crap out of context replies.
Peace 🙂

Nice, I’ve been wanting that option for awhile and had no idea they put it in.

September 25, 2009 at 1:17 pm #318563That’s neat but what if most of their posts are garbage but they happen to give a useful post? Then you won’t be able to see it? Or can you choose to view the post if you want to?
