February 21, 2012 at 2:27 pm #439281Hello Pavit,
I had tried this, but unfortunately did not work for me.
Any other idea?

One way to methodically (and educationally) go about this is to look into the block position file in which your “search” module is located (likely “header.php”) and then – in essence – duplicate the php code to create a new independent module position (which you will give a unique name, of course, to differentiate it from the position you just duplicated). You would then, of course, need to add this new position to your <position> list within the TemplateDetails.xml file, and then create some custom CSS styling for the new position as well – especially for positioning purposes. (To make this process a bit simpler, you could copy-and-paste the CSS for the “search” module … rename it accordingly (to associate with the new position you created in the step above) … and then modify the CSS accordingly for your new module position.
I know it SEEMS a bit daunting . . . but if you can employ a little trial-and-error + patience in the process, I think you will find yourself learning a great deal about how various elements are created, positioned and styled within a Joomla CMS (php/css) based environment. (This is exactly the kind of research+experimentation learning process I employed as I learned to work with php/css web design elements).
Here is an additional little piece that may further encourage and inspire you –> http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/the-three-ps-patience-practice-and-perseverance/

If/When you do this … It will be both helpful and educational for our friend, Michael – as well as future reference for others who want to accomplish something similar – if you can outline the steps you take to accomplish this goal.🙂

Well, our friend here, Michael, already said that this didn’t work for him . . . . so, all I was saying/suggesting is that if there is a step or two that is different/unique from those within the link, perhaps you can post them in this thread for the benefit to all of the additional information for others to, one day, research and learn from … that’s all.🙂

February 21, 2012 at 7:13 pm #439340Take it easy my friends.
I understand and appreciate your tips.
I am a very satisfied JoomlArt customer for some years, and usually only ask in the forum when I can’t find the solution after trying quite find it myself.I will try again, and if I can’t solve it myself I will send FTP access to you, Pavit.
Thank you both.
